Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) If you don't see the answer to your question below please send your question to aileen@aaco-sf.org. GENERAL INFO Q. What is the refund policy? A. For all events, a full refund of the registration fees will be granted if a cancellation notice is given more than 1 week before the event date. Afterwards, cancellations will be granted a partial refund of the registration fee minus $10 to cover costs incurred as a result of planning for the team's attendance. SOFTBALL Q. How does signing up as an individual work? A. Typically, participants register with their own team. However, we do get a few people every year that would like to participate, but do not have their own team. In this case, we ask the various teams that have registered or stated an intent to register whether they are willing to accept individual players onto their team. Such individuals should be willing to meet and practice with the team before the event. In rare cases, there are enough individuals that wish to participate that a whole team can be formed, but one must be willing to captain the team. To facilitate the placement of individuals please submit the following information to softball@aaco-sf.org along with your online registration: · Sex: Male or Female. · What division do you prefer to play in: Recreational or Competitive? · Self-described softball skills. Include any league you may play in or how regularly you play as well as what positions you play. · What town you live in. TENNIS VOLLEYBALL BASKETBALL Q. Are Ballistic and Sports Day the same thing? A. AACO's annual basketball tournament has traditionally been called Ballistic. This year AACO has chosen to conduct the basketball tournament under the Sports Day umbrella of fund-raising events. This helps us to save on costs and thus we should be able to donate a larger amount of money to charity as a result.
