Asian Americans for Community Outreach (AACO) is an organization dedicated to creating a forum in the San Francisco Bay Area where Asian American professionals and students can meet and foster the common goal of community service, benefiting the extended community as a whole.
AACO members can be found throughout the Bay Area. AACO organizes community service and social events and promotes awareness of social and political issues relevant to Asian Americans. By bringing together people from many diverse fields, AACO hopes to pool its members' knowledge, strength, and experience to make a positive impact on our community.

- Donate directly to the program.
We are collecting new and unwrapped holiday gifts for the women, children, and men who have survivors domestic violence and/or human trafficking. They come to us with close to nothing, and many are still rebuilding their lives from scratch. We provide the basic necessities to help them back onto their feet, but we need assistance in providing the warmth and joy that is often associated with the holiday season. Donations will ensure that each family will have a happy holiday despite their financial barriers and instability of their situations.
Gifts of all sorts is needed from $50 Target Gift Cards to toys for kids of all ages as well as warm winter clothing. All donation items are tax deductible. Our last day to collect donations is Friday, December 15.
For individuals who’d like to support survivors directly, they’d have to take the state mandated 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocacy Training set for Fridays and Saturday on January 26th, 27th, Feb 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th from 9am – 5pm at AACI. If you know of anyone who might like to volunteer, intern, or seek employment with the program, please share.
AACO events are not professionally, or formally, guided. It is the participants' responsibility to ensure they are in proper physical condition for events they attend, and should consult their physician if necessary.
By attending an event, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and release and discharge AACO and its staff from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of AACO's negligence.
