Thanksgiving Food Sort
at Sacred Heart

This year, about twenty AACO volunteers joined with over 160 other volunteers to help Sacred Heart prepare for Thanksgiving week. Most of the AACO volunteers were busy in the Clothes Closet accepting donations, sorting, and hanging clothes and accessories. A few others were moving furniture to clear space for Thanksgiving week operations, and some were helping assemble food boxes for later distribution.
That afternoon, the many volunteers helped assemble about 1650 food boxes, bag over three tons of produce, and sort and hang several hundred articles of clothing!
