This year, AACO held its Annual Family Giving Tree Holiday Scavenger Hunt on December 6. For those unfamiliar with our Scavenger Hunt: teams of 3-4 volunteers are set loose in an open-air shopping mall and asked to find and purchase gift requests sent to the Family Giving Tree (with name, age, and gift instructions such as size, type, etc). Each volunteer is asked to purchase one gift.

The Scavenger Hunt was a great event, it is definitely something that is worth having every year! Seeing such enthusiasm in people buying gifts for others in need really touches the heart. We bought over thirty gifts that day which means we will make over thirty people very happy this holiday season. This is AACO's sixth year in cooperation with the Family Giving Tree and hopefully many more will come! Thank you for all your positive energy and jollyness!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
