AACO volunteers helped out the Golden Gate Parks Conservancy on a beautiful afternoon in San Francisco. Sunset Scrub, located in the Presidio and overlooking the water, was one of the newer restoration projects. 24 AACO volunteers spent an enjoyable afternoon planting native plants in a region that was once desolate. Ranger Mike told us a little bit of history and plans for the site and the Presidio.
