APF Growing Up Asian
in America: Awards Celebration

AACO concluded our series of events with Asian Pacific Fund's Growing Up Asian in America project. The celebration was held in the Asian Art Museum. Over 15 volunteers worked with the APF staff to make another year of the Awards Celebration a successful event! The event was MC'd by local NBC news celebrities like Raj Mathai and Lisa Kim. Hundreds of kids and their families came for an entertaining program while our volunteers did everything from setting up the venue, to registration, to handling food, and eventually breaking down the event and cleaning up the area. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out so early Sunday to help make the event a sucess!!! Until next year........
