Annual Family Giving
Tree Scavenger Hunt

December 4, 2004
December 2004 saw the seventh year of the AACO scavenger hunt joining many top bay area companies in support of the Family Giving Tree serving needy families in Northern California. Teams of 4 were randomly selected with participants performing charades to find their teammates! The teams then carpooled together to a nearby mall and discussed their strategy in transit to win the scavenger hunt.
Teams were assigned four gifts that had to be purchased, one at a time. Team Elf was the winner of the scavenger hunt, beating Team Angel by mere seconds! Once all teams had finished their assignments, everyone returned to the community center to fuel up on pizza and drinks prior to the gift wrapping contest and the prospect of redemption for their team. The best gift wrapping award was given to Team Latecomer. Team Elf and Team Christmas Bell(e)s were close behind.
The generous donations by our participants will help the Family Giving Tree bring a Merry Christmas to over 40,000 needy children in Northern California. A big thank you to all participants! We hope to see YOU next year.
